Maureen is a native of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She started her career in the insurance business in 1988 and Property & Casualty licensed in 1989.  She worked for other insurance agencies in Maryland before joining the Avery Hall Insurance Agency in 2009 as Commercial Lines Account Manager.  Maureen has worked in several areas within an agency including Accounting and Human Resources however her primary focus has been in Commercial Lines. She has obtained The Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2011, and is currently working towards the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI).

Outside of work, Maureen is a member of Insurance Professionals of the Eastern Shore, involved in the Avery Hall Insurance Relay for Life Team for the American Cancer Society and being involved in her local church. Maureen resides in Snow Hill with her husband Steve, they have 2 daughters.
