Kimberly Simpson began her insurance career in 1976 at The Hardester Corporation in Salisbury and was licensed for Property, Casualty and Health insurance in 1977. Kim worked as a commercial lines producer for Shore Insurance and joined Chesapeake Insurance in 1991. Chesapeake Insurance merged with Avery W. Hall Insurance Agency in 1999.

Kim is a commercial lines account manager here at Avery Hall. In 2008, the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors recognized Kim‟s commitment to professional excellence with the Outstanding Customer Service Representative Award for the State of Maryland.

Outside of the office, Kim has volunteered for more than 20 years with the Life Crisis Center as an advocate for victims of domestic violence. For that service she received the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce Unsung Hero Award. She is also involved with the Avery Hall Relay for Life team.

Kim and her husband Tom live in Salisbury. They have one son, Daniel.
