Debra is a native of Maryland but moved to the Delaware area 5 years ago. Debbie obtained her Maryland Property & Casualty Insurance license in 1984 and Life and Health license in 1986. Debbie worked for various Maryland insurance agencies before joining the Delaware office of Avery Hall Insurance Group in 2006. She has worked in all lines of the insurance field but primarily in commercial lines.

Debra was presented the "Insurance Woman of the Year" award in 1997 by the Insurance Women's Association of the Eastern Shore. She is now a member of the Insurance Women of Sussex County.

She lives in Millsboro, Delaware with her husband Rick. She enjoys spending time with her daughter Crystal and grandson Colby and spending time with family. Debbie and her husband help with caring for elderly family and neighbors.
